M&A Advisory Services
Selling a Business
Lytton Financial has a track record of successfully selling businesses and business units at attractive valuations. The process begins with a thorough understanding of the business and the vendor’s objectives. We review financial results and prepare normalized information when necessary. Then we identify and implement strategies designed to maximize business value, and after-tax proceeds to the vendor.
In the execution of a sale, we are normally involved in:
- recommending a strategy for maximization of sale proceeds
- preparing a confidential information memorandum
- identifying and contacting potential acquirers of the business
- organizing management meetings and overseeing the due-diligence process
- analyzing alternative purchase proposals, and recommending a course of action
- assisting our clients and their legal counsel to negotiate the most favorable terms
- mediating a smooth closing process
